The spices in this cider have numerous health benefits. Star anise is used for relieving digestive ailments such as abdominal cramps, bloating, belching, constipation, gas, indigestion and stomach aches.  Cinnamon is used to reduce inflammation, relieves indigestion, and improves blood sugar levels. Cloves are anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory.  They are high in manganese and are a good source of omega-3 fatty acids. Nutmeg is also anti-bacterial and good for the heart.
