just made these too. I used honey, lemon juice and a pepper garlic blend. SO GOOD!!!
Kale chips are my personal favorite snack. I can eat them all day!
Hi Dr.Patel!
This recipe looks amazing. I’m not a big chip person but I like to snack so this is perfect for me. I do have a question though. Where can I get chick pea flour and garam masala?
Chick pea flour can be made from dried chick peas, or you can buy it from an indian grocery store.
You will also find the garam masala there as well. The garam masala is not required but adds a nice warmth to the better.
Once the “paste” is made, how much kale do you add based on the amounts in the recipe? Forgive my novice, but I am not very savvy in the kitchen.
Great question! I would use about 6 leaves with the spines removed. Rip small pieces of kale off the spines.
Okay, so I made these last night….is it suppose to take two hours in the oven or am I doing something wrong? The oven was set at 175.
It should not take that long, typically 15 minutes is plenty. I wonder if you have too much batter or not enough kale
